And what a house it is! The four levels accommodated us stunningly
well. We all had privacy and yet many comfortable spaces for being
together, too. The three-year-old discovered the children's books and
playthings; the thirty-somethings retired to the "Church Hall" to watch
videos and DVDs in the evening; and the old guy (me) cooked up a storm for everyone in that super-modern kitchen. My wife and I loved the addition at the back of the house, retiring there in the heat of the afternoon to rest. When our grandson got home to New York, he told a friend, "The house was aMAZing." That says it all. (When we left on Sunday, he was crying real tears and said, "I want to stay forever!" Me, too.) If the Oregon contingent stay in Oregon, we'll be back!
